Edith Stone Room The Albany Chamber of Commerce is hosting a presentation and Q&A by UC Berkeley about its plans for near and longer-range development on their property at the eastern side of UC Village in Albany. Plans include senior housing, a Whole Foods, and some retail shops. This event is on Thursday, April 17, 5:30 - 8:00 in the Edith Stone Room at the Albany Community Center. Light refreshments will be served. As a service to Albany Chamber of Commerce members, questions from Chamber members will receive first priority. Members who are not able to attend this meeting may send their questions to the Chamber in advance and Chamber staff will relay answers. This is a Free event. The restaurant offers a cozy interior features cherry wood tables, burgundy carpets and chocolate-colored walls, setting a relaxed mood for patrons.
