About the Chamber of Commerce

Mission Statement

The Albany Chamber of Commerce is a nonprofit organization established to advance the business and civic interests of our community. It is the one institution in town that unites the business and professional interests of Albany, helping them to accomplish collectively what they could not achieve individually.

The Chamber's mission is to maintain a terrific business climate in Albany, to represent and assist our members, and help build a better community for everyone. Membership is open to all companies doing business in town, and residents who are interested in working with our members and other community groups to maintain the small town ambience that makes Albany such a wonderful place to live and work.

Board of Directors

Each Spring, Directors are voted in by the Membership to a three-year term. Board Officers are selected by a vote of the Board of Directors.
